I found some more movies for everyone to watch. One is a rental, the other is in select theatres.
Our Daily Bread – We watched this film a few nights ago. It is brilliant! Without any narration at all, the film makers have shown us the inside of industrial food production in Europe. We see farms, green houses, animal production and an amazing shaking olive tree. Beck liked all the machinery. You are left to make your own judgements. Definately worth putting at the top of your Netflix list.
Food, Inc. – This film is in select theatres across the country. Check the website to see if there is one near you. I haven’t seen it yet, but hope to get a babysitter so we can go up to Irvine and see it some time next week. This film is about food production in the US. From what I hear it is quite provocative and anyone who eats should see it.
